What is Clarkston Area Youth Assistance?

Clarkston Area Youth Assistance (CAYA) is a unique, volunteer-driven, 501(c) (3) non-profit community organization committed to strengthening youth and families, as well as  reducing juvenile delinquency, child neglect and child abuse through community involvement.

Volunteers work with professional staff to plan and sponsor enriching programs for young people and families in the Clarkston Community Schools district. CAYA’s programs are committed to positively impacting the long-term growth and development of all youth in the community through prevention, education, support, and celebration. The primary geographic area that CAYA serves is Clarkston, MI.

Mon - Fri  8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

In case of closure of Clarkston Community Schools, the CAYA office will also be closed.

The CAYA office is located inside Sashabaw Middle School.

To get to the CAYA office, please enter Sashabaw Middle School at the main entrance and sign in at the school office.

They will direct you to the Clarkston Area Youth Assistance office.
