Youth Recognition
Recognizing Youth Who Make a Difference
Each year in April, Clarkston Area Youth Assistance has the privilege of honoring youths who have worked on the well-being of self and/or demonstrated the concern for the well-being of others, through accomplishments including day-to-day acts of kindness, making positive choices, and developing leadership skills. Youth are nominated by community members (schools, organizations, churches, neighbors). The Youth Recognition Ceremony is a time that community leaders come together to recognize and say “thank you” to the youth in the community that are making a difference.
